UK dealer Jessops is taking pre-orders on the intriguing Sony NEX-7 at £998.95 (inc VAT) body only, or £1,128.95 with the 18-55mm. Delivery is free and the dealer says the camera will be arriving in three days time. Only the very best lenses will be able to get the most from this sensor. Unless you really need the kit lens, my recommendation would be the Sony 24mm f/1.8 Zeiss Sonnar T* - it's a world class performer optically.
