Retailer Red Dot Cameras reveals price on white Leica M8

Specialist UK Leica dealer Red Dot Cameras has announced the price of the limited edition white Leica M8. The special edition model is priced at a cool £5900 (inc VAT) and comes complete with a chrome finish 28mm f/2.8 ELMARIT (equivalent to a focal length of 35mm, in 35mm film terms).

Leica cashback ends soon

According to this London dealer, Leica's 15% cashback on certain M-series lenses ends 31st March, here in the in the UK at least. It would be really useful if we got this kind of info directly from Leica UK, or from their PR agency. But alas no.

Also interesting, if you visit the dealer's site, is that they state the olive M8.2 Safari is limited to just 25 pieces in the UK.
