Canon has issued an update to the announcement of the delays to the range of super-telephoto lenses expected in time for the Olympics in 2012. Both the new EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II USM (pictured above) and the EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM lenses are expected in August, with the unique 8-15mm f/4L fisheye zoom following in July. The 500mm and 600mm f/4 lenses are still intended to be on sale during 2011, but no date has been given, nor is there any word on the highly anticipated EF 200-400mm f/4 IS USM Extender.
